And Potatoes…especially sweet potatoes mmmmmmm! AND you can get a block of spawn (mycelium other wise known as mushroom roots) and as long as you put them out in the rain and keep them warm but not too hot you will have shiitake growing in your back seat! <3 Had a block that lasted a few months once. Left it in New Orleans..oops

There are some pretty radical and progressive messages in the various religious texts – just the pro-patriarchy and "literal interpretation" crowds really fuck up their reputation. Also, "Currently in Canada" sounds like a satirical name for a SNL skit with two reporters standing in a snow bank reading Canadian news with thick accents and a mime in the background.

(unrelated to today's show) my family's dog died last night. he lived a wonderful 15 years. but just considering the immense love I feel towards him and all animals has really strengthened my vegan commitment. and I'm glad to have a community that loves animals as much as I do!

I really liked todays Citizen Radio. Being an Atheist it was awesome to have someone of faith on the show who instead of hating gays and women in Jesus name, is out in the streets kicking major ass.
